ABOUT CHRISTINE

Welcome! My name is Dr. Christine Mann. I'm a family practice physician in Cedar Park, Texas with 30 years of experience training and working in the healthcare industry. I am the daughter and granddaughter of veterans; a wife and mother of three and was a single mother during medical school and residency; and I was a small business owner for 11 years. 

I have been involved in various community service and political activities for two decades, working at the local, state, and federal levels to enact policies that benefit the community as a whole. I am a voter registrar and I have worked on several local and state-level campaigns, helping to elect Democrats in my district.

I have served as a community volunteer for CASA, and I’ve sat on the Williamson County American Heart Association Board of Directors. I also recently served as the president of the Democratic Women of Williamson County, currently, I sit on Texas State Representative John Bucy III’s Healthcare Community Advisory Board, and am a member of the Georgetown Community Forum Board, where I have worked with both Democrats and Republicans, holding community events that bring participants from both parties together on issues of importance to us all. 

In 2018, I ran for US Congress in Texas-31, advancing to the Democratic runoff. I am excited to be running for this seat again, and I look forward to repealing and replacing John Carter in 2020.
